INTRODUCTION

The Pachora Taluka Co-operative Education Society has as its mission the attainment of international distinction in education, scholarship, and public service. As the leading educational institution of Khandesh region. PTCES combines a responsibility for the advancement and dissemination of knowledge. It offers an extensive range of academic programs in the liberal arts, sciences, commerce, paramedical, education and professions. It also provides accessible, high-quality undergraduate and graduate education for qualified students who are able to benefit from a scholarly environment in which research inspires and informs teaching. At PTCES, we celebrate and learn from our diversity and we value individual differences. Academic freedom is defended within an environment of civility, tolerance, and mutual respect.

HISTORY

Pachora Taluka Co-operative Education Society's roots go back to 1936 when S.G.S. High school, Pachora was established. The establishment & running of various institutions of Pachora Taluka Co-operative Education Society was only possible with zealous and ardent efforts of Late.Shri.D.M.Paranjpe, Late.Shri.R.S.Thepade, Late.Dr.M.B.Patil, Late.Shri.S.B.Patil, Late.Shri.K.M.Patil, Late.Shri.Mahavirprasad Mansingaka & Mr.O.N.Wagh. It was his fervor and commitment that has made PTCES as what we see today. His vision of things was unparalleled and so was his practical and hands-off approach, which helped the next generation of equally capable leadership to develop at PTCES. His legacy endures; PTCES continues to offer broad-based and student oriented courses ranging from arts to science & technology. The society's new chairman with young & dynamic personality Mr.Sanjay Onkar Wagh [chairman] of PTCES, Pachora. Today, PTCES is an eminent educational institution in Maharashtra occupying 52 acres of land and thousands of square feet of buildings and facilities with combined student strength of 7000 students.
